Grantwriting Workshop

Does panic or procrastination set-in when you think about writing a grant? How do you find the right grant, get organized and submit the proposal?

This hands-on workshop will teach participants to:

    • identify search tools to find appropriate grants
    • write an impactful problem statement
    • clarify goals, objectives and outcomes
    • craft the eight parts of a proposal
    • build budgets and meet grant match requirements
    • plan project evaluation and timelines

With 25+ years of nonprofit experience, instructor Lisa Dodson holds a master’s degree in education and has completed Grantsmanship Center training. Dodson has written several successful federal, state and foundation grant proposals and served as a National Leadership Grant reviewer for the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
